Painting with Pastels
I love pastels because they are immediate and direct. No drying is required and no brush separates my fingers from the pigment itself. It's a bridge between painting and drawing!
Properly framed pastel paintings are very permanent.
They don't fade. Art museums have pastel paintings from as early as the 16th century, still in perfect condition.
I have been completely successful at shipping framed pastel paintings without the glass breaking.
Please email me for a price list.
